FLYING MAGAZINE TO LAUNCH FLYINGTV.COM
June 3, 2019 (Winter Park, FL)—Flying, the world’s most widely read aviation magazine, will launch FlyingTV.com; it was announced today by Stephen Pope, editor-in-chief of Flying. The new content platform will launch on June 6, 2019.
In partnership with Sleeping Dog Productions, FlyingTV.com will provide access to a vast library of 700-plus high-definition videos, including original series, live events, historic and warbird footage, and more as a Flying subscription video-on-demand product with pricing at $4.95/month or $49.95/year.
”As we look to grow the Flying brand, we see potential subscription opportunities through VOD and other related products,” Pope said. “Launching FlyingTV.com will bring best-in-class aviation television to a larger enthusiast audience.”
New FlyingTV.com programming will be added monthly, and subscriptions to Flying’s print and digital edition, as well as its “ad-light” premium website experience, will soon be integrated with the VOD platform.
“Just as Flying is the world’s most widely read aviation magazine, we believe FlyingTV.com will quickly become the most widely viewed aviation streaming VOD service,” said Jon Tennyson, Sleeping Dog’s president. “The channel is loaded with compelling content aviation enthusiasts simply cannot get anywhere else. The addition of Flying’s editorial excellence and its broad-based coverage of all things aviation will make FlyingTV.com a must-have subscription.”
