The new year is starting off with a Big Bang. Scott and Jon have been invited to be guests of Bob Hoover at the Living Legends of Aviation in Beverly Hills, CA. Sleeping Dog Productions is currently in production of "The Gift" a biographical film that dramatizes the life of R.A. Bob Hoover, it will premier at EAA Oshkosh Warbirds in Review 2015.
The Aviation Awards ceremony is to take place at the Beverly Hilton ballroom Jan. 16. John Travolta is hosting the event, which will be dedicated to Bob Hoover, the first inductee of the Living Legends of Aviation, who is celebrating his 93rd birthday.
The Living Legends of Aviation annual awards are considered one of the most prestigious and important recognition event in aviation. Travolta will be presenting the "Aviation Inspiration and Patriotism Award" to Angelina Jolie, an instrument rated pilot who recently directed and debuted the movie, Unbroken, about the life of Louis Zamperini, a WWII airman. Ms. Jolie was not available and Zamperini's daughter accepted the award.
