HISTORY
It’s very possible that in aviation, more significant historical events have been compacted into a shorter time period than in any other area of human endeavor. We flew from Kitty Hawk to the surface of the moon in just 66 years! One lifetime! Many of the people and airplanes central to hundreds of historical aviation milestones, are still with us. From invention, to WWI, The Golden Age, WWII, the Jet Age and The Space Age, Uflytv’s documentaries, interviews and historical archive chronicle the ever unfolding history and development of human flight.
THE RAW INTERVIEWS Through the years, FlyingTV has met and conducting extended interviews with literally dozens of the biggest names in aviation. Combat heroes, designers, celebrity aviators, astronauts, authors, aerobatic champions, world record holders, executives and more. Parts of these interviews have been used in our award winning documentaries. Now, with your subscription to FlyingTV, you can see the complete interviews. These are real contributions to America’s aviation legacy. We add new ones each month!
AIRSHOW! From the Wright Brothers, Glenn Curtiss, and Louis Bleriot’s first public demonstrations of machines that could fly, to today’s Oshkosh Airventure, the International Paris Airshow and Reno National Air Races, we remain captivated by sky dancing and sky dancers. That’s because we know airshows are not circuses. They are demonstrations of human ingenuity, creativity and courage. And they are amazing glimpses into our future. FlyingTV covers all aspects of airshows - the history, the barnstormers, the aircraft, the pilots, the military teams and more.
WELCOME HOME THE VIETNAM DIARIES The stories of Vietnam in the words of those who wrote and lived them. Original, exclusive interviews with Medal of Honor recipients, POWs and those who simply did their duty. Never before seen insights into the War and the times in which it was fought, not from politicians or pundits, but from those who served.
AVIATION LIVE! Access to nearly 150 live presentations and events, produced and streamed by FlyingTV in recent years. From the complete collection of Warbirds in Review, the highly acclaimed series produced every year during Oshkosh, to airshows, memorials and other special aviation events.
NEW RELEASES Sleeping Dog Productions is prepared to add new content to FlyingTV for the foreseeable future. Next month, we will be producing 12 new 1-hour presentations of Warbirds in Review. Later this summer we will completing a new 1-hour biopic of Tex Hill, the most famous of the vaunted Flying Tigers who saved China from falling to the Japanese in the months before the U.S. officially entered WWII. From our existing library and archive we have hours of compelling narratives of aviation icons which, with moderate editing, can be promoted and posted as “Raw Interviews”, as well as other pieces which give subscribers reasons to keep coming back.
