Sleeping Dog Productions was founded by aviation producers Jon Tennyson and Scott Guyette, creators of Air2AirTV.com. They have produced more aviation TV programming than nearly anyone in the industry. Producer Kyle Guyette also contributes by blending aviation passion and storytelling to shape current and future projects. During World War II, George McGovern served as a pilot of a Consolidated B-24 Liberator in the U.S. Army Air Forces, flying 35 combat missions from bases in Italy over Nazi-occupied Europe. He earned the Distinguished Flying Cross for his skill and bravery, including safely landing a badly damaged bomber and saving his crew—an experience that later influenced his views on war.

Prior to launching Sleeping Dog in 2006, Tennyson served as Vice President of Television and Corporate Sponsorship for the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). He is the co-creator and Executive Producer of Sleeping Dog Media Properties and its parent company, Sleeping Dog Productions, which produces documentary films for its streaming platform, Air2AirTV.com.

Scott Guyette served as Executive Producer of EAA TV, overseeing the creation of groundbreaking aviation programming that brought the excitement and culture of aviation to millions of viewers. He is also the co-creator and Executive Producer of Sleeping Dog Media Properties and its parent company, Sleeping Dog Productions, which produces documentary films for its streaming platform, Air2AirTV.com. Scott is a licensed pilot, and he and his wife, Kyle, share a passion for aviation in their Piper J-3 Cub.
